Abstract

The realization of a justice-oriented Mahdavi society requires agents who go beyond mere administrative duties and achieve a mission-driven self-awareness. The present study aims to bridge the gap between management literature and Mahdavi thought by presenting and validating a systemic and civilizational model for empowering human resources as facilitators of the Mahdi’s reappearance. This research, employing a developmental-applied approach and a positivist philosophy, was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, using a systematic meta-analysis of 20 selected studies, an initial conceptual framework was extracted. In the second phase, this model was empirically tested through a survey of the elite community, including 90 professors and researchers in the fields of Islamic management and Mahdavi studies, with a sample of 69 participants. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SmartPLS 4 software.
The results indicated that the proposed model demonstrates high fit and validity. Analyses showed that the psychological dimension—which includes meaningfulness, competence, self-organization, self-efficacy, and influence—forms the core of the empowerment process and, compared to structural factors, plays a priority and driving role in the formation of civilization-building agents. This study, by linking management knowledge to the civilizational goal of expectation, presents the first empirical and systemic model for empowering agents, in which investment in human inner growth is considered a strategic prerequisite for realizing a global just governance.
